I just nominated Don Sutton, who is S7*, with an opening bid of 0.9, but do I need to wait 24 hours for him?
I ask because the only other people who need pitchers are ldanred and DonFESQ.
Ldanred cannot bid higher than 0.5.
DonFESQ needs 4 more pitchers, but all of them must be able to relieve.
So, is there a reason to wait to claim Sutton and nominate the next pitcher?

If the curcumstances are indeed as you say, I'd vote for not waiting.

Not to imply any dishonesty at all, just mistakes and confusion. :D

I have double- and triple-checked that 9 teams have 10 pitchers, and that Don and Dan cannot outbid (or bid at all) me for Sutton. Thus, I have taken him and nominated a new pitcher.

one clear prediction is the wild card will come from my division as a rotation with veale, quinn and rudolph, will obviously not do that well.

Thanks, but even my pitching staff will have some trouble keeping baseballs in the home park. It will be an interesting season, I'm not used to having four $10 mil starters on my team...

East division should be a good race.

That said, I'm definitely up for a second auction.

ldanred, I'm from the Lou Holtz School of touting my team....I see holes and potential problems.

I could have waited and got a $3M RP instead of Thigpen. I suspect that move alone will cost me 4-5 games, we'll see.

As far as another draft with 2 teams, I'm up for it, btu would want to wait a week or so after the season starts on this league. Rest period :>
