I was going to try and sneak in Greg Maddux on my draft card for the Braves in Event 5, but not at $12.5M in an $80M league. The truth is that he is no better than a right-handed $.50M half the time. Just too rich for my blood.

I meant that because half the time you land on a hitter's card.

You could say the same thing about Pete Alexander, and he's dead (but then again, Greg Maddux didn't get to be portrayed by Ronald Reagan in a movie).

Most of what people call luck is really just a shift away from 50/50 in the hitter and pitcher card rolls.

I don't want to play both leagues at the same time. This wait has almost gotten to the point of ridiculous. We all have lives outside of SOM and this time of year is hectic, but somehow we've all managed to post choices and load our teams in a reasonable manner. Where is Idanred and why hasn't he loaded his team or completed the draft in league 6?

I totally agree. He has been the last one to do things for just about every event, and it's really crappy to have to continue waiting on the same person all the time. I really am not looking forward to this for 10-11 more events.
