Thanks Beach 8)

Boy, 3 teams fighting for two spots. Beach and Niner both had to sweep to keep pace with each other, and they did! Could one of them bump QK out? Stay tuned 8)

Looks like that last matchup between Ninersphan and myself Thursday night is going to be a key series!

Swept by Qksilver last night and have dropped five of six to him this week resulting in a four game lead for Dave. That three-way tie for first didn't last too long!

Clutch performance by my pitching staff with B Roberts out. Just 6 runs allowed to Beach in our series, but then again, winning close games at home is what my entire season has been based on it seems - check out the ugly RS/RA ratio....plus I'm exactly 14 gms over .500 now, and my home record coincidentally is 14 gms over .500.

Now I gotta hang on over last 6 games with Hafner out - doh!

Only won 1 of 3 in my last home series but still have a 2 game lead on Ninersphan - making tonight a key series as expected. Need to win at least 2 more games I think if I want to secure a playoff spot. Hopefully we have enough left in the tank!

WHEW, Maintaining my SLIM lead in the wildcard standings, but If I was Beach I'd be mad as hell if I didn't make the playofss with that run differential... Figure I'll need to win 4 of the next 6 to lock it up, but with the way we've been scuffling don't know if that's possible. Nice to see Zambrano FINALLY get unlucky number 13. I thought he was a lock for 20m wins when he started out at 12-5  .

Needless to say I'm back from Bristol and my tour of the ESPN Campus. It's like freakin' NASA, they have ALL the toys for my business, Nirvana... Would LOVE to land the job there but so far haven't heard a thing...

Saw many personalities, Harold Reynolds, with his new baby (cute kid), Rece Davis, Bill Pido and few other faces whose names to come to mind.

The scary thing is, according to my friend who works there, the new studios and digital center, which have only been online for about a year are TO SMALL, and land jets in the things. They already have plans to build the next studios even bigger. Disney, what a company.

One more thing, Arryl, no pretenses tonight, I hope I kick your @$$

Guys, JPB (Semper) asked me to check in here and say Hi. He wants me to take over his team starting with your next season and I said I would.

That of course if it is OK with y'all.

I know I have rubbed some of you the wrong way from time to time and I plead guilty to that, but all I can say is that I am VERY competitive and that sometime it gets the better of me. I really am not an evil cuss at all, and I ALWAYS enjoyed the level of competition AND camaraderie in this league and would be very grateful for this chance to return (as these are really the only leagues worth playing in).

Sorry for this interruption and G/L to all the teams down the stretch.

Congrats to ArrylT! His squad is the second team to win its division and clinch a playoff spot. :D

Completing one of the more remarkable comebacks in NLD history, the Centurions played something close to .700 baseball over the second half of the season as they rose from last to first in the Central.
