Yeah someone needs to PM Hawk I think...
I don't see that as a bad deal for Niners, but one that will take a long time to pan out since the guys left at the bottom of the prospect draft will likely be 2-3 yrs away from MLB.
For Smokey that deal is a no-brainer given that his best chance to win is next year. For ever after he will be more equalized with the rest of the teams as the impact of this one-time rich FA draft fizzles.
