I'll follow thru on that too... since Idanred can't take a pitcher, I too will make my second round selection, since mine can ONLY be a pitcher...

bill skowron just lost his starting lineup spot

tony kubek very happy with rizzutto going to rjoh

great picks by everyone so far
intersting choice by bill going with injury possibility eddie collins can't beat that obp and glove though

ballparks seem like they runthe gamut lefty power, righty power sluggers, pitchers

cf made himself a good starting rotation in one pick

my team is all hit as best I can with horrible pitching

I was really hoping that Ol Pete would make it to me. Mortici is good but he's not Pete and I'm not excited about Phil on this team.

'61 Yanks - Can Ellie, Mick, Roger, Teddie and Stan hit enough out to keep the pitchers in the game
Guess I would of put Blanchard in LF and picked up a 2B, 3B and SS
LaJoie, Trammel and Schmidt - what an infield

Went with the K's.

No LH's in my rotation, better stay away from those Darn Yankees!

good point about blanchard

looking at blanchard against lefties and worry alomg with his +2 arm and injury risk

also howard isn't great agianst righties in my park only 5% bphr for rightoes
will end up platooning howard and blanchard depending on park

may just go with richardsion as all defense at 2b

love the huge obps of musial and williams against all pitching

still lots of needs though at 2b, 3b, and ss at least my gloves are good there can only fill one of them

skowron horrible fir for yankee stadium don't know how he hit 20+ hrs
