Sorry about not getting in last night. Out late with the wife (I know, no excuse).
I seem to be running into a problem. I drafted my team on Diamond Dope. 25 players totaling $99.88m - but when I enter the same players on SOM I'm over $100m and can't enter my last player (Candelaria). What am I missing? Regardless, I'll adjust accordingly but am designating Candelaria as my drop if needed. I just can't figure out the reason for the difference. I'll be out this afternoon but will check back later this evening.
Also, he's meat drafted a roster of $100.43m. How will that work?
i'm in the central. i added eddie watt 3.09 and not Candelaria as for some reason, yet unknown, my roster salary was different for SOM & DD. Probably operator error. Anyway, I'm in. If LJs wants Watt, I think I can live with it.
Still wondering about the salary thing (mine and he's meats just-above-the cap) :?
I cant figure it out either rowser, and ive gone over it fairly carefully, but the same roster that fits under on tsn, puts me over on DD. still ttrying to deipher where it's off, but as far as I can tell, the salaries listed for each player are the same.
anyway, central's full....west can close us out as they're ready.
All right! Just need ldanred to fill out the West, and we can draft.
This draft was really interesting. The depth of the player pool is very evident. I remember when I did this in ATGI, it was difficult to fill an $80 mil roster with the 12th pick, there were simply not enough players left to add up to that much (this was back in the good old days when there were ONLY $80 mil leagues). Lots and lots of platoons with the lower draft picks.
Now, in ATGVI, I could still put together a competitive team with what's left over on the board. 17 pitchers and 30 hitters still left at over $9 million. Unbelievable.
