OK, just to clarify:

I can only autodraft players who have a card for my team. BUT, I can add players who played for my team between '26-'46, but only have cards for other teams. Correct?

Now, can I add players who don't have a card for my team (but do have an association) through waivers? Or do I have to wait until after waivers to pick those players up if they are available?

Last, I believe I can add players from the teams that are rotated out on my autodraft card (assuming there is an association). Is this correct? Or do I have to wait until waivers for them as well?

My interpretation of Andy's rules is that you can try to auto-draft players from the rotated-out teams, provided they played for your team between 1926 and 1846, and have cards specifically from those years. Thus, someone who played for your team in 1926, but has only a 1925 card is ineligible. After the auto-draft, any player with an eligible card who played for your team during those years can be claimed on waivers if he was not drafted by his original owner. Thus, if the Philadelphia owner for some reason did not draft Al Simmons, he could be claimed by any of the four other teams for whom he played during the waiver period. But if Philadelphia were rotated out, any of those four teams could list Simmons on their auto draft, but only one would be lucky enough to get him.

In regards to the rotated out teams. Are the players "assigned" (but not carded to them) also available to be autodrafted?
