i agree...nice to have choices....but fanta is not for me .... i think to be safe I will avoid the 80's game too .... i tried 05 when it came out ... didn't really rock me so I only done the 1 team - and it was free lol --- I did play about a dozen seasons in 69 .... but that seemed to be an exersise in futility. I won regularly....somewhere in the 530's and that was down considerably...my first 9 were .545 .... the futility part?...I won my division in 6 of the first 9...missing the playoffs once with an 89 win team...and lost in the semi's every single time .... after a miserable 10th team that won 77 yet finished only 2 games out of first....my last 2 were wild card teams.... one lost in the semi's also.....12 teams - 8 playoffs and only 1 finals appearance..with a WC team....I did win a ring, but gave up on it after that.....

ATG seems to be the best fit for me .....

the frustraing part about fanta is I can't even approach 500.....heck with winning the league or doing well in roto scoring (i have always hated roto scoring with a passion)...I want to WIN games .... but I surrender ...

I came across an expression a few days ago that I feel is appropos for both this squad, and a couple of other SOM teams that I have/had ... "it is like watching a train wreck in slow motion" ... :roll:

your main problem is in fantasim, you wait too long!

I mean you wait some , just not as much as you would in the 80's game.

I give hitters 100 ab's, max, to show me something. you gave WInfield over 200! SP's get 3-4 starts, then they are toast. You need quick turnaround if you are to make it here :P

Won my first sweep of the season - I wonder if I've ever had a team that played a whole season without earning 1 sweep.

Just traded the underperforming Snider for Mel Ott. Hopefully Ott will help spark some more offense!

Earned what I think is my 2nd sweep of the season - but will still be lucky to finish above .400 by the end of the season! :shock: :oops: :(

Over .400 now - hopefully we can keep it that way! Next goal will be to avoid 93+ losses. :wink:
