another 6 weeks or so and we ahve the 3 round "optional" draft.....

Then the 2nd season begins in early October..

Sounds good. I don't check in on these boards much between seasons, so please give a heads up a week or two before the supplemental draft is slated to begin.

I did make a few trades during the draft; since they involved draft picks, two of the players listed below -- Iguchi and McCann -- are not on my team, and two others -- Feliz Hernandez and Scott Baker -- are. (Boy that's a swap that looks pretty good for 2006! :D )

Pretty much anyone on my team is available, so let me know if you want to talk trade.

sure wish I could remember the trade that brought McCann to my team and also what I got in return for Wang(I do remember trading the first pick in the draft which ended up being Hernandez for A Jones)

BTW I am sure looking forward to the 2007 cards at least offensively.Pitching sure will be an achilles heel for me but loving the lineup I will be able to pencil in everyday:
