2.) Follow the original rule, allowing passes. If one passes, the other gets the player for the *new* bid, if both pass, the player goes to the next highest bidder.

It's kinda funny that this bidding issue comes up now. If you look back at the bottom of page 1 and the top half of page 2, it will be seen that this was discussed by, guess who? Litangel and me lol. Now, after my cup of coffee, we didn't quite get to what I had asked about, because I raised my bid on Cooper, while litangel refused to raise his bid; I should get Cooper at .53. In the event tying bids are not raised, THAT issue needs resolved. Therefore, my vote will be for 2

1.) Force continual resubmitting until a tie is broken.
2.) Follow the original rule, allowing passes. If one passes, the other gets the player for the *new* bid, if both pass, the player goes to the next highest bidder.

I assume that even in option two if they both raise to the same amount that a re-bid would be used, correct?

That would be my thinking, especially since we had that issue with the Chris Short (or Lanier, I forget which) bidding. I must have rec'd 5 or 6 re-bids on that one, and it was kinda fun. The only sticking point comes if neither wants to raise a bid
