As for the way the system works, it's always been that way, I believe, and never been a problem before. Any player not protected one way or the other is eligible in the free agent draft open to all teams and hence can't be stolen by one. Pretty straightforward, it seems to me.

Ah you got that backwards. ;)
Its You cannot take any player besides those listed as keepers. Franchise Players are the "protected" ones, and anyone else, not listed as a keeper, goes into the FA Pool.

1 - You may keep up to $50 000 000 worth of players [b:b26e328905]+[/b:b26e328905] 2 Franchise Players ($100m Cap).
2 - The Franchise Players will be [b:b26e328905]protected[/b:b26e328905] from the off-season "redistribution of wealth".
3 - From Worst Record to Best Record each owner will be entitled to take a player off another teams [b:b26e328905]keeper roster[/b:b26e328905] (ties will be broken by whichever team has the worst RS/RA differential). At the end of the 1 Round all owners should have 1 new player and lost 1 player (no team can be taken from twice).
4 - Then there will be a 6 Round Draft (Worst to First every round NFL Style). There will be no time limit (unless requested or deemed necessary). This 6 player draft will be designed to even up the league. Keep in mind that you will have to fill a 25 Man Roster under $100M.
5 - After all teams have 2 Franchise Players, 1 Taken Player, Remainder of $50 000 000 Keeper Roster & 6 Drafted FA, we'll autodraft the remainder.
