We already have 7 teams loaded based on the old lottery numbers, they were posted - please read the old posts before u make any command decisions.

What do we do now - mass confussion I'd say.

Please read the earlier posts on page 2, as I'm a little confused. I think we were all under the impression that we would use Wednesday's lottery numbers so we could start the league on Thursday and hopefully fill it tonight. I had recognized the IA/IL issue and switched to MO and since we didn't know ballpark assignments yet, it didn't make much difference.

Anyway, we were under the impression that divisions were set and Paul has created the league and we have 7 teams in right now. This was how the divisions looked based on Wed. numbers:

East:
5 - buster j ratt - 39 - Oakland Coliseum '73
2 - Paul_Long - 47 - Shea '69
4 - SteveAmes - 30 - Griffith '24
3 - Modmark - 17 - Dodger Stadium '65

Central
6 - doctrcpa - 13 - County '57
7 - rjoh - 20 - Ebbets '24
8 - Lte9760 - 7 - Busch '64
1 - ArrylT - 63 - Wrigley '70

West
9 - whoopycat - 10 - Comiskey '19
12 - MunichMan - 14 - County '82
10 - bones - 41 - Olympic '80
11 - Adrian - 43 - Polo '21

But you're the commish, so it's your call....

I am not sure how anyone got that impression - since I never said I would use Wednesday Nights lottery numbers? :? I never saw any posts with lottery results or divisions - must have missed it :( :oops:

I sincerely apologize if I gave anyone the impression that we would go with lottery numbers from beforehand - but it had always been my intent to use the lottery results after everything else had been determined, not beforehand, and it said so right there in the rules. Basically I wanted everyone to know what teams & ballpark they had before we did divisions & started filling the league.

Since the ballpark randomization was not posted until Thursday afternoon, I figured I would use Thursday nights results. Obviously I did not post Thursdays results once I noticed the Iowa/Illinois dilemna. I have no problem using Thursday Night lottery numbers & Missouri instead of Idaho or Iowa, but I would rather not use Wednesdays lottery since those results came out before we had done ballparks and could have given any owner who knew of the results in advance an advantage.

Btw I just checked my PMs and I don't see a pm with a password - not sure how I could have entered a league when I had no pwd or any idea what divisions were.

I'm sorry I missed the post or posts that stated that people had set up a league & divisions - guess you could blame it on my having been busier/distracted more so these past couple of days than usual. Again my apologies. :(

No big deal since we have a week to sort this out. Let's re-post the divisions and determine who needs to back their team out of the league so we can fix the divisions. We have another league created by mistake so we can use that as a holding cell for reshuffled teams.

Most of this is probably my fault as I posted Wednesday's numbers since it seemed like everyone was eager to get the league filled by Friday night. I figured the only way to do that was to start filling on Thursday, and I didn't see how anyone could gain an advantage. :oops:
