Glad to see my team kept itself above .400 while I was out of town - will have to make some more adjustments before the final deadline and hopefully get a little closer to .500.

I guess I missed that this was a place of active talk. My message in the league mail says it all for me. Now I read Geekor's post and agree 100%. I would even take it a step further and identify a few players that you are willing to give the 100 at bats or starters that will get the extra few starts, but most of the roster gets the 50 at bat or 3 start or 5 appearance axe policy.

I have been able to make up huge ground by clear cutting my roster. There will always be a $1 player that can outperform a bad $20-$50 player. The hard part is having the guts to cut Sandy Koufax for Slim Salee or for Reggie Cleveland...

I'll have to keep that in mind for any future seasons PJ - Thanks for sharing. :)

Last chance for any teams to make final adjustments to their roster as the trade/free agent deadline is tonight!

There was a time when I was expecting to lose 100 games ... now I have a slight chance of avoiding 90 losses. Now that I have some experience with this game I might try it again in a little while. :)

Congratulations to the Top Guns on being the best Roto squad, and on the Amnesiacs on being the team with the best record ... guess they forgot how to lose ... ;)
