Just curious -

I am full on hitters now and bid rather aggressively on my last 5 guys,
over two on Giles, Suttles, Homerun Johnson, Hodges
and 1.28 on Oscar Heavy Johnson

Was I just wasting my money bidding that high, or if these guys were opened .50-1.00 lower would you have bid on them?

There's a better way to look at it...

It's not wasted money if it would otherwise have been left over at the end of the auction, or if you found yourself bidding 6 million for J.R. Richard or somebody for your 25th player.
