It's official. I've spent more time tinkering with this team than any team I've ever had. I just can't get satisfied.

BTW, Does Hawk have some power or what?! :shock:

I keep wanting to make changes, but when I map them out I always end up like .50 short or 1 pitcher short. It looks like, barring a miracle drop from someone, I am going to stick with the team I have.

Good news: a sweep :)
Bad news: it only gets me to within 12 games of .500 :(

the story of my season in a nutshell-went 17-7 Friday night with my teams and then 5-16 last night :oops: I thought I was starting to get some lucky rolls finally.It is just downright frustrating for me this season :evil: Hell I am now 54 games under 500 this season.

Hawk I was feeling exactly like you with similar results about a week ago. I was hangin' my head feeling blue, then decided I was going to do anything I could to get back on track. My teams are performing much better now especially my newer teams. Not sure if I did anything other than just changing my attitude. So hang in there, with your veteran experience things will come around. 8-)

Losing Helms to a 15-gamer was a killer. Also, would have loved to make a move cause he's not my favorite guy anyway, but there just wasn't anything I could do strapped by the alphabet. Worked about an hour on possibilities then I gave up in disgust and weariness. I thought I had a fairly good team pre-season, but pitching just cost me too many games.

And boy I hate Barry Zito this year. And no way to replace a 'Z' so that has killed me also. Have started Elarton and others in Zito's place several times and those 50cent guys have been better than Zito. :shock: :x :?
