Well, Dave, it looks like you're going to have some nice backups at 1B and SS. I think the problem comes in when you look at the $$ per team.

I am fighting to have a legal roster under 100 mil. Just remember, you have to put together a roster with your two drafted teams and your 10 FAs.The backup I would want to use from the Naps would be too much to allow me to have drafted Bush & Chance, since the backups would put me over $100, so I have to draft cheap bench players. All very complicated, at least for me. :wink:

How about I say it like this...

The Hitters and Pitchers teams you draft plus the 10 FA's will result in your Major/Minor league roster you can build your team from this group and this group only. In addition any future Add/Drops must be from within this same group.

If we are worried about people drafting players just to rpevent others form using them we'll use the following rule.

Not only $$$, but number of players too. I "brilliantly" drafted teams that only had 7 pitchers and 10 hitters, respectively, to begin with. So, my "minor league" roster shall consist of 2 or 3 people.

And Ace, what Franny and Munich said too - even if (at least) one of them thinks I'm a big-time weasel! :P
