NLD 15

A-Rod #1 in back-to-back drafts - not that that is a surprise.

D. Ortiz #4 both times. Will he drive in 155 RBI again?

M. Tejada falls from #12 all the way to #31.
D. Wright falls from #13 to #27.
Both drove in 100 RBI last season so both could be steals - especially Wright who in my opinion deserved more All-Star votes than Ensberg.

M. Ramirez drops from #11 to #22 - despite a nice 41 HR 115 RBI season, possibly another steal since some may not be aware that I benched Ramirez a lot vs. LHP so those numbers were accrued in only 134 games - not to mention this was Fenway and not a slugger haven like Wrigley or US Cellular.

J. Edmonds also slips 10 spots, but that is probably warranted.

On the other hand M. Giles jumps from #60 to #24 - could be a good move considering his performance for Jeep last season - but could also be a repeat of the Teixeira fiasco.

Wow, I guess D. Lee went from non-drafted to #6

Actually I'm not too crazy about his card nor picking him... but the time winds down on this set and I have not played him yet so...what the heck if I will burn slowly in my first tour in the NLD universe...I might as well blame a low performing-high salary player, right?

Leaving in a few to go have some minor out-patient surgery (an EGD).

I'm sure I won't hold yall up as I'm a whole round away and I'm going to leave proxies as well. Talk to you guys hopefully sometime this afternoon. 8)

I'm here guys, manually to pick but Penn's is very slow for me in refreshing and giving me my choices.

Will pick asap, leave for the good ol' box and again leave it all to proxies.

OK, there you, go I see it refreshed in the background.

See ya after my pick.

OK fellers, off to the races. I've re-freshed my proxies and essentially should be able to draft the rest of the way on proxies, for the most part loaded.

Happy drafting 8)

[b:753fbe1501]Updated "predictions": [/b:753fbe1501]*

1. Qksilver (Shrewd deal with NP to draft Giles moves qksilver into lead spot)
2. JeepDriver (Pace of draft slows Jeep Juggernaut)
3. hawkeye (makes smart decision to use clones to check on opponents draft lists)
4. Big Alric (Miffed at being considered a newcomer Sophmore BA takes it out on his division)
5. Shrink (Uses influence with weather gods to delay NLCS to allow Floyd time to heal)
6. ArrylT (Falls 2 spots while celebrating Mets division title)
7. bigmahon (starts climb up ladder to defend title)
8. Smokee (Fight to legalize use of pot while playing SOM derails NLD Campaign)
9. JTJ/Wineman (The Hydra of NLD needs to ensure he doesnt play in a pyromaniac division)
10. Warrior (Mixup with BigAlric over who is the newbie hurts chances!)
11. Ninersphan (attack by sexy female underwear model distracts beloved Commish)
12. Cummings2 (Proxies good - but leaving whole draft to proxies ala RiggoDrill bad)

* - to be taken with grain of salt, dash of pepper, teaspoon of clover, cup of lemon juice & glass of tequila. :D
