I'm somewhat happy to have gotten him with such a late pick. I actually gambled that the player I really wanted with that pick is still around on the rebound. Catchers are really a dime a dozen each year, so you'll end up with a strong one regardless. With Palmtana needing a catcher still, I didn't want to chance him not being around for me come my turn. Other than the obvious injury rating, and the L/R slant, his stats are not that far off from the 1st catcher taken. :)

And there goes Liriano. Nice pick Splinter. I was targeting him but I was hoping he'd slide a little more. Average ERA but good K, BB, and HR stats. He'll probably get just as good of a card as Brett Anderson.

I see his card being pretty even on the splits...

I envision a couple singles/doubles splits on 8's and 9's on each side...maybe a walk on 4/5...good DP's/.... and as you said no homers off his card[/code]
