You have rights to 35 players.

The 5 that you dropped from your 2005 protected list are open for anybody to pick up.

The 5 you draft here become part of your 35 protected players for 2006. Your SOM roster is made up of any combination of players from your protected list.

This is nearly impossible to determine free agents who were either un- carded or carded but not on the end of season 25 man roster.
