Opening remarks --- Hopefully, Glen had even less time to enter his team than I had.

Let the fun begin.

Over/Under on first Woods/Uncle barb is Saturday 11:45 AM.

My pixx (as I recall them)

Postby FoggyOne » Thu Aug 03, 2006 4:47 pm

Cobb
Mattingly
Lajoe
Averill
Mize???
Nettles??
Berra

Honus wagner down the list

No pitchers were taken in top 10 that I recall. I would be shocked if I didnt get most of my pitchers (perhaps other than Chief bender).

I took a lefty-hitter favorable haven (LG Park '34 ???)

I put this thing together quickly, so I don't remember the top 5. I went with the M and M boys 1 and 2, and I believe I took 55 Crosley, trying to put together a power team. I also had Mize, but don't remember if he made my top 5 or not, though he was up there.

One thing I have noticed is plethora of decent looking sub-1M relievers that have been added. It harkens back to ATG I.

foggy you...you, you! I had mattingly 3rd or 4th, decided not to go for sisler figuring he'd be popular. im in shea 69, figured league field was a bit too extreme. if it's weighted draft, I may still have crack at donny baseball....think I put pitchers high. had bancroft in top 5...didn't take any big timers...except maybe mattingly.

Rob-
I put Lajoie 3rd too...it will be interesting to see who gets him
I have Flick first, then Musial, then Lajoie
Went for 09 Forbes....I have Greenberg on my list to play 1B 4e10 (as long as he isn't a 5 in the field, he is the best offensive player after Ruth, Mays, Mantle and Gehrig in a pitchers park
