Here's a twist-- After the two drafts have been run, there will be a second lottery, using the original states. This will also be high-low and the managers will be ordered in the same way the divisions were set. This second drawing will be for the ballpark selection

The 1,4,7,10 etc. will select the ballpark for the corresponding manager from the division set-up. If you get lucky, and you match your lottery position, you can select your own ballpark. If not, well, you better hope your Secret Santa likes you

Just looking for clarification...

Each team may only be selected once, so if the 1927 Yankees hitters are drafted, then the pitchers for the '27 Yanks are off limits.

That would leave 23 teams to form the "pool" for the 4 supplementary picks.

Is that what was intended Herr Biermeiter?

I have very temporary access so I will leave a hitters proxy - too far away for the pitchers proxy, I may or may not be able t check back in soon or not until next weekend.
1. '39 Yankees hitting
2. '27 Yankees hitting
3. '62 Giants hitting

Riggo, I'd guess that each team can be selected both as a hitting half and a pitching half, or else we'd have to keep the two drafts separate, wouldn't we?

That's how I'd read it. So, the '27 Yanks' pitchers are still in play if the '27 Yanks' hitters are chosen.

Two clarification points

1. Riggo- Hitting teams and pitching teams are separate. A manager can draft the 27 Yankees hitters and another manager can draft the 27 Yankees pitchers.

2. Guardian- The two hitting/pitching teams and four drafted players form your personal player pool. No one else can touch them, and you are not allowed to use any other players from any other teams. Make sure you can fill your teams with your rosters! Some teams don't have many hitters/pitchers. :wink:
