Meat, you're up!
RickCom and ColFalkland:
I added you as new users. To access the site initially, your passwords are:
TEST
Your userIDs are, respectively, RickCom and ColFalkland, with no spaces.
Let us know here if you have questions about how to use the site. Creating proxies is highly encouraged and makes these drafts go much faster (especially after the first round or two).
One thing that's not particularly intuitive in setting up proxies: You generally want to set the round to "0," that way your next pick automatically "moves up" if your first choice is taken.
If say, in the next round you want to pick a first baseman, and the round after that a reliever, you would use the groups: Call the first baseman group, say, "5", and the reliever group "10" (I usually leave some numbers in between - it makes it easier if you decide to reorder later). Then proxy up however many first basemen you want to consider in group 5, use the priority numbers to order them (again, I typically skip a few numbers in case I decide to re-order). Make sure you set "Delete IF Group Picked" to Yes. That way, if, say, you wanted Pujols as your first first base choice and you get him, your alternative first basemen would automatically get deleted and when the next round comes back to you, one of your reliever choices is picked instead (if any have not been chosen yet).
Kramed (Mark), I used the user ID "Kramed" (no numbers following). It looks like there is another one in the system with numbers, but if I recall correctly, you weren't using that one last time.

WAIT!!! Can somebody please lay out the draft rules. I.E. how many hours, days etc does each player have to pick. Is this a 24 hour a day draft? Are the positions the players play shown on somdraft? Garg.
Edited to add:
I also read the entire thread at:
http://forums.sportingnews.com/viewtopic.php?t=185924&start=25&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
Please post the league rules here. Is it a DH league or not? Not sure after reading the thread seems there is some division on that issue.

DH League
$100 MM salary cap
Unique stadiums, stadium can be picked any time during 16-round draft
AL / NL mix of players
As for the draft, I don't think the clock runs on weekends, and runs from like 8 am EST to 10 pm EST (????) Mon-Friday. There's a three hour time limit, but we've usually been a bit lenient on that in the past.
I certainly welcome more input from Al.

hey guyz, sorry, didn't realize we filled. welcome to colfalk and rick! you're gonna meet some eccentric characters here, and read some verbage you'll never comprehend. VERY rare first overall pick, (last time was over the infamous meat/meho megadeath match, when riggo took over my team and romped to the title) big responsibility. ill get on it before I leave for usc/tex in spokane today...that may be a bigger war than meat/meho.! :P
Is there a better time of year?

and they're off! pretty tough decision, especially considering anyone I was considering will be long gone by the time i pick again, probably tuesday or so. went with Jeter for a variety of reasons, 100m salary cap being one. will be interesting to see how far the other guy I was torn between lasts...
If I had first pick....
