As I stated before IF we do a NLD 12, I'm basically unavailable until Oct 17.

so with that in mind lets see what we want to do:

Option 1: Standard 80mil
Option 2: 60 mil
Option 3: 100mil
Option 4: 200mil
Option 5: Theme league ala wildcard we did last year, cap to be determined.
Option 6: wait for the next card set
Option 7: play 1969

I know this is a lot of choices but if we get to a consensus we re-vote with a smaller list

Pleas list if the 17th is a problematic start as well.

I'm open to anything EXCEPT #4 and #6. I really want to play again, it's a looooong wait for the next set of cards but i'm really opposed to a $200 mil draft. Any of the other ones sound good to me.

Has to be live draft otherwise the LD would stand for Lousy Drunk. 8)

Hey Penn, I hear you have the raw data for the 69 season. Any chance of you sending it my way? (joethejet at iwon . com)

Thanks!

Being new to NLD I don't feel very comfortable with voting, but will go with the majority. I'm with Korkie on the 200M, in fact I have sucked on all 100M leagues too. Also, starting 10/17 as mentioned earlier sounds perfect. If, however, I need to give up my spot to a returning original member just holler.

I too would prefer not to do the 200 million league, but am fine with any of the other options and hopefully in the next league my team will be given the same lousy rating and no chance of making the playoffs as my woundedhawks were given by the Jet system  :D

Actually, your rating goes up quite a bit with your actual IP from your relievers (wm did that *very* early) and also with Bruney v Wickman. We never redid the ratings for the actual IP or the changes that were made.

I also think your pitching which, ratings-wise, was the worst in the league went up, but still majorly overperformed their numbers to finish in the middle of the pack.

Your team took advantage of Wrigley field for sure. I'm surprise to some extent because outside of your big 3 hitters, the rest really aren't very good v RHP.

Must have been the right combo however as you killed us this year. Heck, we made your whole season by ourselve, I think WM calced that we went 3- 10 against you counting the playoffs. :( So, I guess it was karma or something, but for some reason (that I haven't figured out) we clearly don't match up with you. You'd figure our hard RHSP's would, and our 6 LHB's v all the hard RHP would, but... :?: what can I say?

The ratings usually miss on one team under and one team over and Bonds teams always seem to do better than the ratings would indicate.

I'll try to make sure your rating is bad again next time. Remember that when I start giving you advice during the draft ;)
