Hello and welcome to the "Best of the Best Jr." League. Hey Resmanjr you out there? Why did you name the league that?

As WM mentioned, this is our first 60 mil. What should we expect? (besides getting our behinds whooped? ;))

UP AND RUNNING

Got up and saw we are full and will draft tonite. I was hoping for a draft last nite and a Friday Waiver Frenzy, because I work 2 doubles every weekend - Which allows me to sell LIFEWAVE(A tremendous new product - nontransdermal energy patches that I am working on getting into every Major Phoenix Sports Franchise)during the week.

So I am hoping to have a good draft and waiver period, so I won't have to bottom feed and pick over everyone's leftovers.

If you think you get a little frustrated when you can't fill every single hole in an 80M League, try filling them w/20M less cap. It is quite a challenge.

But I really like the format for that exact reason. This will be my 3rd. one I went to the finals(Losing to Riggo), having won 95 games - The other, I am getting my butt handed to me and have the worst record in the League - so go figure.

I am guessing there will be a lot of Pitcher's Parks(Petco,Kaufmann, etc.) Now that we are all full - I am playing at Fenway...How about everyone else? Robert(AKA Swpsychic)

Saturday's waiver is going to suck for me. I hope AD goes well. I'm in SBC. Here's my top 10 on my draft card:

1. Johnson
2. Bonds
3. Pierre
4. Burke
5. Vizquel
6. Freel
7. Young
8. Carter
9. Hammond
10. Vazquez

I can produce the rest if anyone is interested.

Don't remember the order on my card, but I know I had Freel, Burke and Vasquez lower than you. So they are safe by me at least.

I think though I would almost prefer to have Kendall. So if you end up with him maybe we can deal.

Ouch. :x Lots of holes to fill. Looks like the frenzy starts Friday afternoon not the Saturday some were worried about. Lots of moves over the weekend I'm sure.

AGREED

Had a bad position player draft. OK at the top, but absolutely nothing after cleanup. Got all my SP'S - But didn't ask for much. I really need a big RHH, but with 3 LH Parks in my Div. I need a big LH Bat too. Thgis is going to be a real challenge.

GL to all. SWP

I missed out on 2 * SP's and Pierre. I was hoping for a 1-2 punch at the top of the order of Pierre and Freel for Bonds to knock in.

I picked Glavine and Pedro as my #2 and #3 picks and didn't get either of them. :(

SP is going to be tough. Otherwise, looking good.

For ballparks, we've got:

Fenway X3
Petco X2
Shea X2
Jacobs
SBC
Tropicana
Kauffman
Turner

Pretty much all pitchers parks. Seven favouring lefties and five favouring righties.

It is looking interesting...

Yeah, we got cleaned out on our SPs, got to take a different tack for sure.

We had them 4-8 too, the only we got was Livo and I'm not sure we'll keep him. Anyone interested?

Other guys we might be willing to move.

Biggio
Pratt
Lopez,
Kennedy
Frasor
Wood

Really almost anyone. Let's talk!
