Divisional Draft Theme....

Did something like this in 02 (dont remember who ran it) but it was fun.

On signing up pick a division (East, Central, West). This will not only be the division you are in, but the players ([u:b8d31c0ce2]and ballparks, thanks Tom[/u:b8d31c0ce2]) you can chooose from. If you are in the east, only players that are on AL or NL east teams are available to you, ever, all season, with 1 exception. The west has one less team, so 1
NL central team will be moved to the west (I will leave which team that is to whomever takes the central, I'm guessing Cincy or Pitts).

Everyone take a pick 3 state, and there will be a live draft for each division (only toook 2 days before, since only 4 of you are drafting). Obvioulsy someone in each division can take the same state, only has to be different from those in your division.

Once all 3 live drafts are complete, we will enter in the order of the divisions, followed by a frenzy (we did a full live draft do we really need to wait?) and then the season. Remember that ALL season long you can only own players from your division.

I will choose a division after it is half full: and I am holding spots for the following owners (until they decline): TomB, JR (JohnMRoss), Bill G (essex mossemen) and Ndowdy

niners, just so you know the owners I am holding spots for are those of us who played som football till it's last days, so it may be a bit slow, because I am waiting for all these guys to be here and ready. Once they are all ready I will be posting on the main board for it to fill. Of course you are more than welcome to join now, just letting you know the status so you don't get impatient. Of course I think you used to play it too... go we miss som football, even in it's shitty form :cry:

No sweat geekor, not in any real hurry. I tried the TSN football product but found it sorely lacking. A real shame IMHO because I think the Strat-O Football board game is FAR superior to the Strat-O Baseball board game. Unfortunatly they never got the kinks worked out enough for me to enjoy the TSN version, so I wound up giving up on it pretty quickily.

I'll check here periodically to see how were doin' . Keep me posted.
