Good question. I had a couple of decent pitching based squads in 2003, but none that ever won titles. I won 1 in US Cellular and 1 in Dodger. Only won 2 titles in 2003 and only made the playoffs 11x in 38 teams, one of my least successful 200x card seasons.

I have almost always gone with a 4 man starting staff, have you had any luck with a five man staff, and i have also tried to get a good defensive catcher.

Both my 2003 championships were won with 5 man rotations. I tend to find 5 man rotations worked better in hitters parks while 5 man rotations worked better in pitchers parks, at least in 2003. However other owners experiences may differ.

At least I'm in a division of right thinkers. Well, with the exception of the Yosemite Glaciers in Coors.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
