Clarification question, I assume the SP choice is SP/RP? RP only is a separate list?
Thanks, sschu

Steve... before this goes further, we need a clarification as to position eligibility and various cards.
Some players may have cards that make them eligible at certain positions, yet not at others... what do we do here for drafting.
example: Ty Cobb is eligible for RF on his 09 and 12 card but NOT the 11 (12.33m). It seems that in relation to this theme, if he is taken in the RF round, then his 1911 card would NOT be eligible for the manager that drafted him as it does not meet the criteria, which seems fair. However, if he were released or traded, then any card would be fair to use.
example 2: Stan Musial, meets criteria on all cards EXCEPT the 1946 card(9.62m)
What is the ruling?

I l ike that pick sschu! That's what makes the draft interesting. To answer your question, Steve clarified that SP is SP only, and RP is RP only.
Novie, your suggestion seems very reasonable to me! Obviously this is Steve's league and he'll cast the deciding voice.

yeah but if its your turn to pick a sp, are you suggesting that the 10.04 mio satchel paige is not allowed. He is SP/RP but he is possibly a top 12 salaried pitcher and he is more desirable than some of the pitchers priced above him
