NAKL 2010 SPRING DRAFT FINIS

1. Everyone has to be at a [b:639df2b966]maximum of 30 active players or less[/b:639df2b966], prior to the draft.
Because of this, if there are prospects you want to promote, you will have to make cuts if necessary, to allow for their promotion and still keep your team at a maximum of 30 or less, prior to the start of the draft.
2. You are only allowed to cut a maximum of 15, keep this in mind when trading late draft picks and how it might effect your cuts.
3. Draft is a maximum of 15 rounds, if you are not at 40 players after promotions and the draft, you play the season short. (I do NOT see this happening, but thought I'd mention it anyway)
4) PROSPECT PROMOTIONS AND DROPS MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO THE START OF THE FREE AGENT DRAFT;
AFTER
4a) DROPPING 10 TO 15 REGULAR ROSTER PLAYERS AND
4b) AFTER ALL NON-EXPIRING 2009 PROSPECTS HAVE BEEN PROMOTED, DROPPED OR UNCHANGED; THEN
NO MANAGER MAY HAVE A ROSTER OF MORE THAN 30 PLAYERS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SPRING FREE AGENT DRAFT.
5. Three of us will need to cut less than 10 to get to 30, see list below.
Here are the number of players on the active rosters as of March 17, and the [b:639df2b966]Minimum Number of Cuts[/b:639df2b966] due for each team, assuming no prospect promotions. Also listed is the round each player will be finished drafting if they make only the minimum cuts. The order listed is the basic draft oprder.
1. Mike Lopp 40 man roster, minimum 10 cuts, done drafting in round 11
2. Ninersphan 40 man roster, minimum of 10 cuts, done drafting round 9
3. array 40 man roster minimum 10 cuts, done drafting in round 10
4. madigan 40 man roster, minmum of 10 cuts, done drafting in round 10
5. Jerlins 38 man roster minimum of 8 cuts, done drafting in round 9
6. Jimmullins 37 man roster, minimum 7 cuts done drafting in round 9
7. nythawk 40 man roster, minimum 10 cuts done drafting round 11
8. schnogens 40 man roster, minimum 10 cuts, done drafting round 11
9. thisisray 40 man roster minimum 10 cuts, done drafting round 10
10. cshannajr 39 man roster, minimum 9 cuts, done drafting round 9
11. thisisdan 40 man roster, minimum 10 cuts, done drafting round 9
12. splinter 40 man rosetr, minimum 10 cuts, done drafting round 12
I will create a seperate Official Drops thread where your official drops can be posted. Keeping them in one thread all together will make it easier for me. Official drops are due 2 weeks from today, March 31st at which time rsoster will be frozen for a day or two to allow me to compile the rosetrs and create a draftable players list.
