PICK 6 Franchise league possible changes

PICK 6 Franchise league possible changes

Postby sdajr76 » Thu Nov 04, 2010 1:41 pm

Due to the overall quality of many of the new cards. i have a few changes i am thinking about making to the franchise structure.

1. the mets are now a strong enough roster to be of use with the EXP set, and would make the now extremely dominate yankees perhaps to formidable.

2. EXP will be split into 2 groups. i feel with them grouped in the following way they can both be used to construct some solid teams especially with the new pitchers.

group 1: NYM/MON/TOR/CAL/SEA

group 2: HOU/SD/COL/ARI/FLA

3. Due to these changes I would also allow the teams (in draft order. unless everyone wants to as well) redraft an available undrafted franchise.

as far as i see it this is really the only fair way to deal with the new cards. otherwise i feel it screws up the playing field.

i sent petrosian a PM letting him know of the possible changes and of this thread.

How does everyone feel about these perspective changes?

my suggestion (though I am fine with whatever we do).....

The talent pool has been so transformed with so many high end cards, would it be best to completely redraft this round?

If you are going to change things up, a re-draft is probably the best way to go. However, as with any change, some will probably be unhappy. And, not sure Petrosian will want to keep playing, as you would be changing up the Franchise/teams HE drafted. :?

I also agree (if this is not already stipulated) that the Yankees and Mets should be split up. I'm not sure about having two expansion groups, though. Is there enough talent there to be competitive, particularly since many of the new players are already carded to exisiting franchises?
