This league uses only teams from post ww2 and exp eras.

$130 mil (league set up in $140 mil category, but you can only use a max of 130)/DH/ 5-10-20 drop/Waivers

Here's how it works:

Round 1 - live draft on the ILC boards - select any exp or post ww2 team
Round 2 - serpentine order, select another exp or post ww2 team
Round 3 - select any (half team - hitters or pitchers from the remaining exp or post ww2 teams)
Round 4 - serpentine order (half team - hitters or pitchers from the remaining exp or post ww2 teams)

At the end of the draft each manager will have 2 full teams and the 2 (1/2 - teams); Your roster must be comprised of players from these team groupings at all times..

NO Trades

[i:098a0dac07]If you have rights to a player, you may use any card version of that player, even if the card version is from a team you did not draft. For example, assume you win Greg Maddux in the auto draft because you drafted the Cubs - exp and Maddux where he is an assigned player. You may use any Maddux card (even his years on the Braves), even if you did not draft the Braves - exp[/i:098a0dac07]. - RULE UNDER REVIEW

Select a home ball park associated with one of your teams

Randomizer has been run to determine drafting order and divisions will
be as follows: 1,4,7,10 - East; 2,5,8,11 - Central; 3,6,9,12 - West

Since many top players are eligible for multiple teams your autodraft strategy will be very important to secure top dollar players..

Before I make the first pick, I want to give the manager the opportunity to chime in regarding the concern on allowing managers to use any player card version, vs. restricting the card version to only the cards in your selected team groupings.. If you want to restrict the card versions, please prose a lower salary cap.. I feel strongly that will be necessary to generate 12 competitive teams.. thoughts?

I'm fine with leaving it as you envisioned, but I'm in no matter what.

Let's go with $120M then. I'll stick it out no matter what, but I highly prefer using only players assigned to your grouping and not any 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon tricks.

You still seem to be referring to the original sign-up. This is how I interpret the randomizer run.

I'm more than happy with your rules. Makes the Blue Jays a little more viable to take.

I prefer the team-card restriction

IMO, we are [b:7ef62d47fb]creating [/b:7ef62d47fb]teams from franchises, not playing a [b:7ef62d47fb]franchise league[/b:7ef62d47fb]. Therefore, I am perfectly fine with allowing whoever gets a player to be able to use his best card.

If you'd rather make it less a luck of the draw, then state that the manager that drafts a player first gets him. So if i take PIT-exp before anyone takes SF-exp, I get rights to any Barry.
But whatever, I will abide by the majority, but i like being able to use any card....
