Armchair chat thread for next season

Two weeks left in season and we only have races for two divisions between two managers each, wild card. The rest of us are languishing. Go Pete, for best record, jinx!!

With two weeks left, lets begin thinking about keepers. 40 MIL, Two weeks from now season to end November 18. Begin keeper listing for a week or so. Maybe by beginning of December we can begin drafting on Diamonddope.

We had a very nice, efficient draft. Colorado boys did a nice job. Maybe by December 10th we can aim for completing draft and creating league.

Just wanted you to know I am thinking about you boys. And have your best interests in my heart.

If you are changing your plans for this league, let me know real soon. We have some new managers and it has been fun this season.

Mark and Kevin always did an awesome job. Mark created this league and administered it for 30+ seasons. Kevin got us thru the next few seasons, thanks boys. Lets keep it goin!

We draft eight rounds on diamonddope. Will incorporate new cards. must post keepers on this chat thread shortly.

Big Ric sent me a note about this opening. I am interested & will speak with him via phone. I can call or text you too this evening. OK to call after 9 PM ET? If not, texting or a phone call at another time is OK. You have my data from my Goldrush participation.

If I join, do I assume the departing person's roster for purposes of declaring "keepers"? If so, I'd like to see the rest of the list, and everyone else's Rosters too if possible.

But let me talk with Ric (and you too if you want) before finalizing a firm commitment, OK?

Got Dacelo's Roster. What are my choices if I do not wish to retain $40 Mil. of his players?

On the other hand, chagrin chagrin, 8-) ... I just highlighted players I'd like to have on that Roster and they totaled over $60 Mil ... sigh ...

But I would like to know if I can include and claim any currently unowned players amongst my $40 Mil. protected list -- or must they come ONLY from Dacelo's Roster?

You dont have to keep any of the players on your roster if thas what you want. You can keep up to 40 mil.

Understood ... there's definitely $40 Mil. worth of keepers on Dacelo's team roster, no matter how badly it appears to have done this past season. It is a real mystery to me why some teams do so well ... and so poorly ... beyond any negative or positive expectations. Looking forward to competing with and ragging on the whole lot of you!!
