Possible replacement needed for Long Term Keeper League

By now, most of you have heard of one of the two USKL's -- The [b:55d1a24cd6]Unlimited Salary Keeper Leagues[/b:55d1a24cd6] -- but for those of you haven't, it's a LONG TERM committment to try and simulate (as closely as possible) owning a real team, complete with your own 40 man roster, Free Agent Drafts, Unlimited call-ups, and the chance to own the greatest team you can afford.
That's because we play with the 200 million dollar salary cap and it's almost next to impossible to go over it -- NOW.
But you just might be able to do it if you draft all the best young kids now who become the AROD's or PUJOLS' of tomorrow.
Prove your the best GM and you just might do that.
We have a team in The Original USKL League whose owner has fallen on tough times (a recent move and being screwed over by COMCAST) and has lost his Internet Connection.
Therefore we are in need of an immediate replacement. And it is at the best time, becasue we are about to begin our annual Free Agent Draft where you might be drafting one of those future Pujols'.
And the team you would take over has the SECOND pick in the draft.
The rules are simple. You create and maintain a 40 man roster. Anyone that played ML baseball in '05 will be eligible to be drafted. We will play at least two complete seasons in which you will maintain a 25 man roster at all times (the remainder of you 40 man roster will serve as your minor leagues for injury call-up and promotions). In the middle of this year we will have a Supplemental Draft -- in which you will be able to swap out up to three of your players for any undrafted free agents.
If you are interested please say so here and I will get back to you here.
Since the team in question has the 2nd overall pick, it didn't fare well last year but there is planty to build on.
The first thing you would have to do as GM would be to drop up to 16 of the following players before the upcoming Free Agent Draft. You will then be able to select up to 15 new players to replace them (we had a 41 man roster in our first season and will now and hereafter play with a 40 man roster).
After that the Free Agent Draft will commence.
Thanks for your interest,
Sandy
