Ballpark single question

Is it supposed to be a SI* or SI**?

I thought it was supposed to be the latter, but it appears to be the former:

Yes, ballpark singles are SI*.

SI** is only when a W-power hitter hits what would otherwise have been a ballpark HR.

Dean please explain your answer more fully, I thought if it wasn't a ballpark homer, then it was an out. Am I incorrect?

If a W-hitter gets a BP Homer, it counts as a SI**
If an N-hitter gets a BP Homer, it couns as an HR

If any hitter gets a BP Single, it counts as a SI*
