I think you're gonna have to hit a ton to win.
That pitching staff has a lot of BP HR's fot a hitters park, as well as not real setup guy. You need to have some decent middle relief, not just a bunch of specialists. Without they will see way too many innings vs their weak side, and you will not win. Feliciano is a must, Wurtz or Correia could be ok on the opposite side.
You have to get cheaper somewhere. I'm not sure about your team though.
Loney is W vs L, Rolen is good, but a little one sided. Whose playing 2b? Whose leading off?
I've never been good at making no pitching all hitting teams, so it always looks wrong to me :P
but as far as lineup go who the fck would place Lugo at the top? he has barely 30 ob vs L with no real tb's, and vs R 40 ob again with a bare tb's. He has no business ever seeing the top of a lineup.
R:
Guillen - best place for his OBP but not a lot of power
Scott - best #2 man in the set
Beltran - see below
Rolen - good hits, tb's decent power
Escobar - good everything but high dp's
Loney - low obp is why he is here
Kemp - slightly better than Ross
Ross - slightly worse than kemp
Lugo - speed at the bottom as a 2nd leadoff
beltran makes it hard to find a good spot for him. He has ok OBP (44) good tb's and hr's (54/11) good BP hr's but only 18 hits! Everyone else around him has more hits, but after your 2 big OBP guys is probalby the best spot for all those HR's.
vs L your team is much much weaker. I hope you arne't facing to many of them. You have real problem, like Loney would be good, except the W and not 1 ounce of HR, would bat him 2nd, but 33 dp's!! Ross has such little acutal hits (besides hr's) I mean he's best as a #6 hitter like that, but you have no one else to bat higher.
vs L:
Scott - 50 ob, nothing much else
Escobar - easily your best hitter vs L, and 0 dps
Sheff - next best hitter vs L
Loney - taking a gamble that the W won't hurt you here, not a normal spot
Ross - ton's of HR power
Guillen
Beltran
Rolen
Lugo
