One run lead in the bottom of the ninth, Eckersley pitching (ATG3v2). Doerr at 2b (1 e 10), so no chance for a hit on an X result. Here is what happened:

*** BOTTOM OF INNING 9 ***
0 E.Collins 2 Fly Out (RF) b-0
1 J.Jackson 1 Triple (CF) b-3
1 3 A.Simmons 1 Single (2B) 3-H b-1 gb(2B)x

Do you suppose HAL pulled the if in? Did that bump Doerr to a 2 e 10?

Anyone with the super advanced rules and mojo that can help me with this?

Thanks!

If HAL pulled the infield in (and with one out and runner on third, I'd have to assume he did), then yes, Doerr becomes a 2e10.

Technicality: With infield in, range does not decrease, but on a gb(X) to the fielder who is in, there is a 20% higher chance of a single.

Range only decreases when holding on baserunners.
