Do Starting Pitcher's 4 day rest carry into the playoff?

I have already clinched the wildcard in my league with tonight being the last game of the season. I have my best 2 pitchers pitching the last two games of the regular season tonight. Will they need 4 days rest carrying into the playoffs?

Also, since the playoffs plays 2 games then 2 games then 1 ,1,1, can you start a starting pitcher "on short rest"

There are two "rest days" after the regular season that count for starters days off. So, if you want your best guys pitching in games 1 and 2, you shouldn't start your game one starter in game 162 assuming he's a * pitcher.
