I think it is incredible you are 30 games over with the mediocre stats you have. Hal loves you.

There is always luck involved in SOM, but give the guy some credit for winning 100 plus games. And stop drinking all that hater-aide! I have never won 100 games in a season(here). And "SPONEDAL" should be given some credit. Good job, Sponedal!

I think I may have another 100 win team going. I have made the playoffs twice now in the Cell but lose in the 1st round.

I am starting on Monday with my 1st busch team. I want to see if I can figure that one out.

Elpasopesoos is not a hater, he's just looking at the wrong stats. In my experience a 4.30 ERA in US Cell is pretty good. Combined that with his team only making 53 errors(only 15 erors up the middle) and allowing just 30 earned runs, I would say that is a good ingredient to the recipe for a winning team. Also, despite the mediocre BA, he managed almost a .350 OBP, which combined with a HR here or there will score some runs. Throw in a monster fluke 24-3 season from Morales and there you go.

And it looks like I am on pace for another 100 win season

There may be luck involved here as it always is with Strat but from what I see looking at these 3 teams, I think Sponedal has it figured out - not only in the Cell but also at Busch. I'd like to know the secret - especially to how he got such a good performance from Sizemore (for me he's hitting around .200 with less than 10 homers in Kaufman Stadium), quiet a waste of over $7m.

Sizemore has always been good for me

And I am starting to see good things in certain situations from Pearce, Redman and Kouzmanoff.

Do you bat Sizemore leadoff or down in the order? Maybe I should suggest in the game improvements thread a 'hit more' option, similar to the 'steal more' or 'bunt more'.

Anyway, it does look like you've got some things figured out for the best - so excellent GM work.

I have found Kouz and Redman to be very good values. Very high potential and Pearce at least looks good.
