Well, I was the one who advised patience to clawson_tojans, but now I feel like giving up and writing off what is only my second team, just 18 games into the season. I'm not sure why they are doing as badly as they are right out of the gate. I know they are slow on the bases and mediocre in the field, but I thought my pitching (starting and relief), OBP and slugging were good enough to compensate. Lugo at SS and Burrell and Green in the OF have not hurt me yet, as the team leads the league in fewest errors. The team hasn't been particularly unlucky, as its pythagorean record is 6-12, only one game better than they are actually doing. Looking at the boxes, there haven't been a lot of LOBs and GDIPs. I don't know what I can do other than fiddle with the batting order or tweak individual player and managerial settings, but I am open to any ideas:

Do I just need to be patient, or was the team fundamentally flawed in the draft/waiver/FA phase?
