I have Anderson Hernandez for defensive sub at 2nd late in the game (2e17)... Or need a better starter? Biggio seems cheap for his power as does Jr in CF.

made a couple moves... Biggio was dropped for Kennedy. Byrnes dropped for Bradley. I lose power but gain defence and some OBP.

your team looks better, but you should get down to 24 players, probably 10 pitchers and 14 hitters

buchholz and cassidy for 1 cheaper starter

swisher, wright, rollins and bay can start everyday

hafner too but he can get hurt up to 15 games but anybody can dh

platoon at the other positions

Thanks for the help!!!! I dumped Bucholz and Cassidy picked up Elarton. Dumped a couple bench guys and picked up Vidro to platoon with Kennedy. Still have 1.79 left to burn.

make sure your platoons can back provide some back-up at your "set" positions, at least 1, i prefer 2

generally i spend more in my platoons for hitters vs rhp as i expect to face roughly 70/30 rhp/lhp
