I go with the guy with the good C rating as a priority. Never won in 200x without that but have won 2001 championships with a 0.50 price closer who was a C6. For the life of me I cannot remember that guys name. I think he was the Toronto closer that year but would not bet on it.

I'm always learning here from those who are smarter than me (not a tough task).

I have never designed a NON R/C to the "closer role," because I thought HAL would avoid using him.

I do understand that the "N" rating is asking for trouble, BUT can I assume that with the designation of "Do not use before the 9th inning" coupled with "Quick hook," that a very good R1, R2 or R3 with NO Closer rating could be just as effective for that one inning than a similar quality R/C?
