Berkman...Where to bat him?

Personally, he is too weak for me in the 2 hole vs. LH's. If you have a better leadoff option vs. LH then the 9 hole would be my next choice.

Posted: Mon Aug 29, 2005 10:49 pmI would never draft him again. Playing in Citizens' Bank, a better HR park than his real-life park, he reeked not rocked.
He was so bad against LHP that he eventually slid down to 7th in the line-up behind Tim Olson. Pretty good against RHP though; batted 1st or 3rd.

Posted: Tue Aug 30, 2005 2:59 pmHe's hitting only .229 vs lefties, but he has a .362 OBP so he's been fine for in the lead off spot vs lefties. Doing very well in teh #3 spot vs righties too. :)
