Youkilis, Garabito

I have a Petco team and was thinking of using this as a dh platoon. I've never heard of anyone trying this and am curious if this could work. I'm thinking Youkilis might not need a platoon mate and Garabito might be overkill. Also where to bat these guys. There high obp tells me to put them at the top of the order but i already have Figgins and Jeter on my team.

I had Youkilis in petco and he was so pathetic vs righties that I had to platoon him with blum at the end of the season Hal did an interesting thing before I plattoned them he always ph blum for youkilis vs righties first chance he got

so the numbers vs lefties although not thrilling do give you some ob
but the numbers vs righties are pathetic

I got a pretty nice season from Youks in SBC: 260/376/373. He hit 49 doubles, and his performance was pretty evenly balanced: 255/406/364 vs. L, 262/360/378 vs. R.

But he's not doing well in Comerica, with the season almost done: 228/347/336 (298/391/462 vs. L, but 195/327/278 vs. R.) 40 doubles so far in that one.

I must say, that I also had good luck with Youks, and at Petco. He batted over 300 and his obp was over 400!

A link would help. W/O a link, I'd say for the money you can get more out of the DH position than those two.

I had Youkilis at Petco. Very dissappointed. Hit .227.Hit .200 against righties.
