To all,

Any thoughts/suggestions on this team playing in Comerica. I splurged on hitters and believe I have a sound up the middle defense.

I am currently sifting through tats to find pitchers with sound WHIPS and a good percent of groundballs.

You guys on the boards are always great.

From the Ratings book, these are the SP's with the most DP chances...

vs. RH's:
D. Williams
H. Ramirez
M. Redman
B. Webb
D. Haren
M. Mulder
J. Suppan
C. Silva
D. Wells
J. Wasburn

vs. LH's:
J. Marquis
M. Redman
M. Wood
B. Webb
D. Haren
A. Burnett
M. Mulder
H. Ramirez
J. Suppan
C. Silva

If these guys have alot of DP's on their cards, chances are they are giving up groundballs huh?


My 2 cents, FWIW...

It's always nice to know what other stadiums are in your division. It helps...If there are 2 or more pitchers parks in your division, Lee and Chen are OK. If not, it could be trouble.

You could lose a SP or 2 and/or upgrade your #3-5 starters.

You've got 5 regulars + Varitek that could lose significant time, because they have less than 600 PA's.

Berkman will be OK but he's probably better off in a hitting environment with those BPHR's @ 1-6 and 1-10.
