Do you think this can work in Petco?

Do you think this can work in Petco?

I have almost the best fielder at every position with some decent hitting. I hoping to win at home with my low WHIP SP's and slug enough with the great "D" on the road to be competetive. I haven't used Maddox, Chen, Lee, Reitsma, Eischen, DeJean or Caretr this year. The league is predominantly a hitting league(2 Coors, 2 Ameriquest, MM, etc.). It's something different anyway.

I think your team is destined to win 100+ games, maybe 110 with good rolls, team makeup being one of the factors. I'd be very surprised if you didn't. I'd even go out on a limb that you may even lead the league in runs scored.

Going to echo everyone else.

Lee went 17-11 for me on a Petco team.

You built the team like I try for Petco. Pitchers with low hits/whip. Hitters with good OB & BA. Couple of hitters with natural HR.

Only think I would want to see more of is OB versus right. Is Mauer available? Great for this team.

Is Redmond available? His hits will help you more that Varitek's pop. If it were me I would look to do something with Varitek & Chaves and work on OB & BA. What about Polanco for 3B?

These are minor things. I think you have a very good team.

My 1 1/2 cents.

Well, I agree with the OB vs RH. The more the better just in case he has to meet that Ameriquest team out West in the playoffs!! 8)

I wasn't a fan of my lineup vs rhp's either, but was commmited to fielding an all "1" defense, or as close as I could get to all "1"'s. Someone was nice enough to cut B Roberts for me, which seems to happen as often as not even when he gets drafted. I cut Varitek, Castillo, Eischen and Wells to get Redmond, Roberts, Rowand & Hammond.

I was looking at some random leagues and came across this Petco team. 1's everywhere but LF (Sullivan - 2(0)e5). Champs in 7. He went the mega-pitching route (42+).
