At what point is a hitter limited to a max of 3 games due to injury. I thought it was 600 PA, but I've heard it is 660 PA.

Is it different for different years?

Thanks

If a batter in any TSN SOM game has 600 PA (hits + walks) in a year then he can not be injured for more than 3 games at a time.

In the '06 game, why does Jeter have an Inj-1 when he has over 680 PA's (731)?

Probably because he didn't play in 162 games. You have to play in every game to get a 0 injury rating.

Thanks, LM. I thought it was just based on PA's.

So then it's:

<600 - 15 game max.
600-679 - 3 game max.
680+ - rest of game
162 GP - don't worry about the insurance premium
