There are so many defensive options out there, it lends itself to putting some impressive defensive teams on the field. My early results have been very good when fielding a top defense. Let's you skimp on the pitching.

[b:b4c0c31cbd]10 errors and 4 unearned in 42 G's. Almost 1st in DP's despite being at the top in WHIP and pitching.[/b:b4c0c31cbd]http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2007/team/team_other.html?user_id=1842

[b:b4c0c31cbd]10 errors in 42 G's with 6 unearned runs. Again near the top in both DP's & pitching.[/b:b4c0c31cbd]http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2007/team/team_other.html?user_id=1476

[b:b4c0c31cbd]Slugging team with little pitching-Pujols, Jeter, Chavez, A Jones & Polanco w Dye & Manny at the corners. I had Hudson but couldn't get under $80mm. 4 unearned runs thru 21 G's.[/b:b4c0c31cbd]

Not yet. I haven't assembled the teams I've got in mind along these lines but you are right. Defense options are good this set.

Nice teams there.

My 5 07 teams have so far been eerily similar to your first two teams including the parks, and have been having good results. I too, plan on mixing it up a bit with some hitters parks and slugging. It's safe to say, based on those teams, if we were in the same league, one of us would have have a horrid draft and first waiver pick for sure.

Nice start to the 07 season DJ.
