get rid of jeter

11mil is an awful lot to spend on a ss

Keep Jeter unless you can trade him for Vizquel.

You only need one closer so drop Novoa and Ducherer and pick up an R2 or R3 RP.

I don't like Tiex. Try somebody else at 1B. It is tough when you have two guys over 10M in salary but your team doesn't look that bad. You have shaky defense in spots which is why I say to hold on to Jeter or get Vizquel.

I'm with LMB on Teix. I don't see anyone with him in the leagues that I play in. Rios and Matsui will spend alot of time on your bench with injuries. They have a high percentage of injury roll. You don't have a big bat and I have found that you will need 2. $10 mil in CF with a 0 arm rating without much HR power could be spent elsewhere. That's all I can tell you. I don't have the vast experiance of the players that most of these guys have but I do watch them to see what formula works. Most that win go with pitching or hitting but don't try to even them out. I have pretty good sucess in the 07 league loading up on power and middle and closers that are very good. I spend very little on SP. Get 1's at SS CF with a minus arm rating and a cather with a minus arn rating and I don't care about his defensive rating just his pb and T error rate. This may be more then you aked for or doesn't help you at all and if that is the case then I am sorry that I wasted your time. :?

You might want to look in to getting a better defensive 2nd baseman as well. I would also consider getting at least one more reliever over 1 mil to serve as a setup guy, alhtought the cheap guys you have now look okay for your park.
I also second chasenally's motion to get a second big RBI guy it's important. You need to think about the key top 5 spots and then fill in the holes after that.
