Steal Attempts of Third

This is my first year of playing (3 seasons of 2007) and HAL seems to attempt steals of third more than I want. I'm OK with using"normal" for attempts of 2nd. Any idea whether HAL uses the same probability of success for attempts of both, or is more cautious for 3rd? My overall success ratio is ~70%.

Overall, I don't think HAL does too bad of a job (sure you can find some real horror stories, but in general he does okay). However, the one department I don't like is how often he tries to steal third if you are at all aggressive. He will even try with two outs.

For those who don't know, S-O-M uses the second (lower) steal number when trying to steal third.
