I have Jack Billingham and Larry Christenson in my starting rotation...cost wise about the same, the numbers for each very similar EXCEPT wins and losses....Christenson has lost 25 games (2 with another team) Billingham has 18 wins...

Won-Loss record can be deceiving. I was just considering cutting someone I considered my worst pitcher who was 2-5, when I compaared him to Seaver, who was 5 or 6 and 1. I saw that he was not much worse at all than Seaver, except for some bad luck and some unearned runs. If his record was 5-2 with the same stats I would not have even considered cutting him.
