I've got a team in a AT&T, based on a strong starting staff and small ball. I want HAL to use bunting and the hit and run a lot, but only with the weak hitters in my lineup.

Should I set my manager bunting setting to Aggressive or Extra Aggressive, or should I set it to Normal with my good bunters set to Bunt More? I'm worried that having Bunt More players with an Aggressive strategy will result in HAL bunting in unfavorable situations. Same problem with the Hit and Run.

Anyone experienced with smallball have thoughts on this?

With H&R and bunting, I would not go more than normal. Definetly not more than normal with H & R or you will get a low %. Put your good players to "don't bunt" opr "don't H & R". My best % for H & R has come on conservative with "H & R more" on weak hitting "B" rated guys. Try to set your lioneup accordingly.
